Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest
October 25, 2020 - October 30, 2020

Calling all Fall fanatics, creative creatures… the first annual Maple Hills Pumpkin Contest has begun. A contest for all ages, all makers, all carvers, painters, creators…. you can carve, you can decorate, you can paint an actual pumpkin or if you prefer you can make/create your own pumpkin… it could be a painting, crochet, paper, whatever. The sky is the limit so get your creativity going!
Rules, dates, and info will also be posted on the Maple Hills Website…. if you know someone who is not on Facebook, please share!
Rules:
- Carve, decorate or create (crochet, build, paint etc.) a pumpkin and send a picture of the creation to maple-hills-board@googlegroups.com with the subject: PUMPKIN.
- 1 picture per email submission. Picture must not identify the creator.
- Submit the following information in the email:
- Name of creator
Age group of creator
Email of creator or guardian
Phone # of creator or guardian
Address of creator or guardian.
- Name of creator
- One entry per person.

- All submission must be received by 10/25/20 at 8pm.
- Community voting will be open 10/26-10/29 outdoors at the fire station. Pictures of submissions will be posted in the windows and voting ballots will be available online and printed at the fire station. Place completed ballots in the provided ballot box.
- Winners will be announced on 10/30/20. Winners will be posted at the fire station and on Facebook as well as emailed.
- Prizes will be available on 10/31/20.
Note: Board meetings occur on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm. Location is usually at the Fire House. Contact the board for more information.
