National Night Out
August 2 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
FreeThe event is made possible by volunteers representing the Maple Hills Management Company, a local HOA, with the help of a community engagement grant offered by The King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks Community Service Areas Program. The event is free and open to the public.
The fun and festivities at this year’s event in Maple Hills will include representatives of the King County Sheriff’s Department, East Side Fire and Rescue, King County Water District No. 9, multiple local neighborhood block watch groups and a small business expo consisting of various local enterprises eager to participate and support the event. Free food and refreshments will be provided in a picnic style atmosphere and cooked by volunteers representing Boy Scout Troop 498. Other attractions and entertainment include basketball and kickball games, water games, a nerf war (nerf guns provided) and public access to our recreational facilities in the surrounding park and playground. Later on at dusk, bring some blankets or chairs and join us for a family movie night in the park featuring snacks and popcorn.
Note: Board meetings occur on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm. Location is usually at the Fire House. Contact the board for more information.
